Live Hub: Your Real-Time Stream Mission Control

What Is the Live Hub?

The Live Hub is your real-time mission control centre during a live stream. Instead of switching between multiple tabs and tools, everything you need is in one dashboard: live chat, viewer stats, points activity, stream alerts, and interactive tools like Points Drops and Chest Drops.

Open it from your Seller Widgets dashboard when you go live, or pop it out into its own window so you can keep it visible alongside OBS.

Live Stats at a Glance

The top of the Live Hub shows your current stream statistics in real time:

• Concurrent viewers — How many people are watching right now.
• Total viewers — Unique viewers who have tuned in during this stream.
• Likes — Running total of likes from your audience.
• Sales — Your live auction sales total for the session.
• Elapsed time — How long you have been live.

These stats update every few seconds automatically. No refreshing needed.

Live Chat Monitor

The chat panel shows every message from your eBay Live chat in real time. You can see who is talking, what they are saying, and when they sent it. This is useful for keeping track of questions, spotting active buyers, and engaging with your audience.

The top chatters panel shows the five most active participants for the day, so you can give shoutouts to your most engaged viewers.

Points Activity Feed

The activity feed shows every point award and voucher redemption happening during your stream. When a viewer earns points from chatting, redeems a shoutout voucher, or triggers a forfeit, it appears here in real time. This gives you visibility into the rewards system activity without needing to check a separate page.

Points Drops and Chest Drops

Two of the most powerful engagement tools in the Live Hub are Points Drops and Chest Drops.

Points Drops

A Points Drop awards bonus points to everyone who chatted recently during your stream. It is like dropping a reward bomb on your most active viewers. Use it to:

• Reward viewers during a slow period to encourage more chat
• Celebrate hitting a sales milestone
• Thank your audience at the end of a stream

Chest Drops

A Chest Drop awards a free treasure chest voucher to a random active chatter. This creates excitement because viewers know that simply being active in chat gives them a chance at a free chest. It is a powerful incentive to keep people engaged throughout your entire stream.

Stream Alerts

The alerts section of the Live Hub shows all pending and recent alerts: shoutouts, forfeits, highlighted messages, song requests, donation alerts, and follow notifications. You can see which alerts are queued up and which have already played on your stream overlay.

Pop-Out Mode

Click the pop-out button to open the Live Hub in its own window. This is ideal if you are running OBS on your main screen and want the Live Hub on a second monitor. The pop-out window is streamlined and updates in real time just like the embedded version.

Getting the Most from Live Hub

• Keep it visible — Pop it out on a second monitor so you always have eyes on your chat and stats.
• Use Points Drops strategically — Drop points when chat slows down to reignite the conversation.
• Combine with the leaderboard widget — Viewers see their name climbing the ranks on your overlay, and you see the activity in the Live Hub.
• Watch for shoutout alerts — When a viewer wins a shoutout, acknowledge it live on camera for maximum impact.

The Live Hub is available to all streamers with an active Seller Widgets subscription. Go to your dashboard, click Live Hub in the sidebar, and you are ready to take your stream management to the next level.
